We go to the scorecards i #BriedisMikaelian in the @WBSuperSeries cuiserweight quarterfinals: 116-110, 115-111, 114-112 all for your winner Mairis Briedis. I STRONGLY disagree. #boxing

Holy. Fucking. Shit. Briedis is given a UNANIMOUS decision after winning MAYBE 3 rounds. UNREAL. DISGUSTING. #WBSS
— Mark Crowley (@SportsSharp) November 11, 2018
Briedis wins a unanimous decision. The DAZN crew thought Mikaelian won big.

Both looked so bad it's tough for me to have an opinion.
Wow, I was BIG on Briedis decision and only caught a few rounds but from what I read them scores are absolutely absurd.... due a bit of good luck after last weekends weirdness though, so happy days!

Here are the scorecards: 116-110, 115-111 and 115-112 all for Briedis. What a bad decision, Mikaelian clearly won the fight!! @WBSuperSeries #BriedisMikaelian #WBSS2 #AliTrophy @MundoBoxing

That was a gift for Briedis, robbery.

Briedis with an almighty robbery.
— RASHID BABIKER (@Rashidbabiker) November 11, 2018
Yeah briedis came the closest ever to beating usyk i honestly dunno what's happened to him now as he hasn't had multiple wars
— Abdi-Aziz (@P4P_GOAT) November 11, 2018
Crowd don't like the decision but I kinda knew Briedis would get that (as posted). Gevor's problem is that he has a bit of a falling-apart look under pressure. BJ Flores had Mikaelian winning big, said: "I'm speechless!"

116-110 for Briedis is an all time bad scorecard.
— Matt Gollnick (@Attyg3) November 11, 2018
That was one of the biggest jokes of a scorecard ever.. did one judge have it 118-110 briedis..? Wtf lol
— Luke tucker (@Luketuc57920589) November 11, 2018
The boxing judges in Chicago should retire Horrible decision. Maybe Briedis won 2 rounds if best. #wbss #boxing
— Joe Jacovino (@JoeJaco) November 11, 2018
Mairis Briedis escapes Noel Mikaeljan in a WBSS quarterfinal that could have easily gone the other way. Commentators felt it was a clear win for Mikaeljan but all three judges score it for Breidis 114-112, 115-111, 116-110

Sauerlands will have a problem getting fighters to commit to WBSS if after Zach Parker Darryl Williams robbery and now this Briedis Mikaelian robbery they continue to sanction such poor scoring. No boxer watching that will have Briedis winning and will think twice re getting one
— Gareth Budge (@Meister71) November 11, 2018
@SauerlandBros guys love the WBSS but please make it fair Briedis at most could have won 4 rounds last night how can one judge have him winning 9? Hope that you reinstate Mikaelian into the tournament as he deserves it.
— Gareth Budge (@Meister71) November 11, 2018
Was there anyone other than the judges and possibly Briedis's corner that thought he won the fight? Or do you believe the decision is justified? If so tell me why you think he won. #Boxing #BeauKnowsBoxing #BoxingForAll #punch #combat pic.twitter.com/SATZlORKph

Briedis will have to perform much better against Glowacki, I suspect he will.
— Stefan (@StefanHatton) November 11, 2018
So Briedis got a gift? Damn.. where is the Briedis that look world class against Usyk in January?
— b0xingfan (@b0xingfan) November 11, 2018
Briedis pēdējās cīņās izskatās diezgan bēdīgi. Pret Gevoru tika pie dāvaniņas. Ja līdz nākamajai cīņa neatgūs uguntiņu acīs un to sniegumu, kas bija līdz Usikam, baidos, ka ballīte atkal beigsies pusfinālā

Jāpiekrīt Sandim Kleinam, ka mums jāpriecājas, ka Latvijai ir tāds @BriedisMairis, kurš cīnās visaugstākajā līmenī, nes Latvijas vārdu pasaulē un kuram varam just līdzi.
— Edgars Orlovskis (@Orlach) November 11, 2018
Protams, cīņa bija tāda kā bija, bet šoreiz galvenais, ka tika gūta uzvara. #Briedis #MairisBriedis
I asked Kalle Sauerland about Briedis - Mikaelian scores in lieu of almost unanimous media opinion (including mine) that Mikaelian not Briedis won in Chicago. "I have to watch this fight, score it for myself. It was tough one to judge" - said WBSS boxing boss. #boxing pic.twitter.com/86A1wKb5lU

Es, ja godīgi, lūdzu Dievu, kaut Mairis vēl ilgi boksētu pasaules līmeņa boksu un vestu uz Latviju top klases sportistus
