Par to runāja tikai divi spēlētāji. Kuri? Negribu saukt uzvārdus, jo man visi hokejisti vienādi tuvi.

Muļķības, kāpēc lai to darītu? Ņemot vērā leģionāru limitu... Labāk šiem ņemt gatavu, pieredzējušu leģionāru - komandas vilcēju...

goerie.com: GoErie.com: Otters, Ftorek reach deal
The Erie Otters and coach Robbie Ftorek have reached an agreement in principle on a new three-year contract, Sherry Bassin, managing partner/general manager, said Wednesday.
-----------------------------
Nu tad nevajag gulēt, jo citi jau runā par vienošanās principiem jaunam 3 gadu līgumam.

"They would tell me everything that was going on during the game," Ftorek said. "Between periods, we'd talk about it."
Initially, though, figure skating was his first choice.
The tragic death of Maribel Vinson-Owen, a figure skating coach in the Boston area, changed that. Owen was one of several U.S. Figure Skating team members killed in a plane crash en route to the 1961 world championships in Czechoslovakia, according to the Boston Globe.
Then one night, Bruins center Fleming Mackell, his favorite player, took Ftorek through the team's dressing room. He was hooked on hockey. He began playing hockey at 8 years old.
A year later, John Marchetti met Ftorek at a tryout for a team headed to Quebec City, Quebec, for the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. Marchetti, then 12 years old, quickly learned Ftorek would succeed at the highest level.

"Robbie was going to be something special," said Marchetti, 58, Mercyhurst College men's golf coach and the Ice Center's manager. "(The game) was so much clearer to him."
Marchetti played against him in summer leagues. Thankfully, Marchetti said, he didn't face Ftorek while at Wellesley High School.
Ftorek broke state scoring records three straight years, according to Sports Illustrated. He played professionally for 15 years, including six in the NHL, before a knee injury ended his career in 1985. Along the way, he has followed the same philosophy.
"It's doesn't matter if it's on the pond or in the NHL," he said. "It's a puck. It's six against six. There are rules you have to abide by. ... This is the same game."
A sense of perspective
Ftorek is a "big hugger and kisser," he said. Two years ago, the hugs and kisses he exchanged with his daughter Anna, now 18, were difficult to bear. She suffered a concussion after her head struck an Astroturf field during a high school soccer game. For about six months, she couldn't identify family members.
"I could come back three months later and I knew right away she had no clue who I was," said Robbie, who coached Albany (AHL) at the time. "(My wife) Wendy would say, 'Anna, that's your Dad.' It's not very much fun."
Anna is doing well now. She has trouble recalling only the occasional cousin or friend, Robbie said. Next month, she leaves for a six-month international tour with Denver, Colo.-based Up With People, a singing troupe that also handles civic responsibilities.
Ftorek is proud of his four children - sons Sam, 32, and Casey, 23, and daughters Lucie, 29, and Anna. Last weekend, Ftorek watched Casey, a senior at Middlebury (Vt.) College, lead the soccer team to a conference championship in Amherst, Mass.
Ftorek already is proud of his new family - the Otters.
In his two weeks as coach, he has seen the team improve and make mistakes that need to be corrected. Along the way, Ftorek has learned about himself.
"I just enjoy watching kids, watching players, find easier, better ways to do things which make them better," he said. "That's what I look forward to doing."
