Of course, LKL aint ACB, Italian LegaA or even Russian Superleague, but Zalgiris is a club that Kambala needs. I think they could make a good cooperation. Zalgiris may give what Kambala needs (its the chance to play Euroleague), Kambala can give to Zalgiris a good player who wants to reach something. Definetely a good choice for both sides. It will be a first step to reach something big (and i do know - Zalgiris does have potential).
BUT, did Zalgiris manage to clear their finansial problems?

New Zalgiris owner Romanov is very rich person. He owns Ukio Bank Investitional group, to this group belongs: FC Hearts, Zalgiris, Ukio bank, also he has business in aluminium industry and etc... It was already promissed that Zalgiris will pay to players not only their salaries, but also premiums for victories. BUT before Romanov comming, Zalgiris had 27 mln Litas (7,7 mln Euros debts, and Romanov started to pay those debts through his bank. Firstly to players (for example today there was news that Tanoka Beard, Vaidotas peciukas some other players got their money back, some timeago Mamadou N'Day got his money. So although I believe there will not be financial problems, but because of those old debts and crisis (harder to find sponsors), Zalgiris budget will not be as big as it could be, but they will pay salaries in time, I believe.

BTW, today krepsinis.net wrote the same, that Zalgiris is interested in Kambala. Zalgiris general manager neither confirmed, neither denied those rumours, he just said that Zalgiris never comments any rumours (but he probably would said that thats not true about Kambala, if Zalgiris really wouldn't be interested in him, yes? While Kambala agent talked very mysterious. He is also agent of Ratko Varda, who left Zalgiris last season because of financial problems, and didin't got all his money (I believ now he will get those money, like I mentioned earlier, Zalgiris now is paying debts), so Kambala agent was mysterious and just reminded the case with Varda, when he was asked about Kambala and Zalgiris.

I just can read very little bit, but really can't write in Latvian Oh, and I guess you talking about those 3 news about Bagatsis, Skonto, Rytas? Starp citu, cik ar leishiem esmu runājis, tad visi baigi par Kambalu fano! Jautāju, ko jūs viņā esat atradushi? Džekam 2, 06m pat līdz centram īsti nevelk. Tie dusmīgi, nē Kambala ir labākais! Es saku ka jums taču ir savs "kabans" Javtoks un bishku garaks 2,10m. Nē , tie saka , ka Kambala tā var pa plecu pretiniekam iedot, ka vairāk pie groza nelīdīs. Patīkami protams bija to dzirdēt, pēc kā arī vairāk sevishķi nekasījos
